Let me say first thing first I’m a very harsh critic! I’m Haitian and know real authentic great Haitian food! I have nothing but amazing things to say about Joenise.the food taste very close to a home cooked meal and my mothers,auntie,and grandma house! The food is always fresh always flavorful great portion size! I’ve already order from them on Uber eats about 7 times in a month lol.staff is super friendly I usually call to tell confirm they can fry my meat a little soft I hate over fried pork and they’re always soo pleasant and I enjoy speaking creole to them just super sweet! Definitely a must try I promise you you won’t be disappointed

If you’re looking for delicious and high-quality Haitian food in Brooklyn, Joenise is the place to go. While there are many Haitian restaurants along Flatbush that are both good and affordable, the quality can sometimes be inconsistent. As the saying goes, “you get what you pay for.” Fortunately, Joenise offers both affordability and consistent quality. I recommend ordering food for pickup or delivery. Just be prepared to wait a bit, as they make their meals fresh. Also, don’t forget to get pikliz, it’s one of the best I’ve had ever. The staff is friendly, the food is delicious, and I keep coming back because the quality never disappoints. I highly recommend Joenise for a great Haitian dining experience.

Today was my first time eating at this establishment and the staff was very friendly. The food was amazing! True Haitian cuisine . I had the fried turkey (w peppers, onions & two fried plantain) & black rice, sauce & pikliz on the side. (meal was 15) SO GOOD! I will be back within this week! I want to try everything!

Super delicious Haitian food is what you will find at Joenise. If you have never tried Haitian food before you should know it is one of the most flavorful foods in the Caribbean. I had a dish of turkey, rice, plantain, pea soup, and a very, very tasty sauce. I ate everything on the plate. I didn't even have a grain of rice on the plate when I finished. We loved the food. There is a lot of variety because the menu changes everyday so you can have a different dish depending on which day you visit. The orange and brick colored interior is clean and has an inviting ambiance. Joenise also has great sounding speakers that allow you to enjoy the smooth sounds of Zouk as you eat. The music will make you want to dance. I highly recommend eating at Joenise. We cannot wait to go back.

Okay this might be long review it was my first time buying food here and when I say 10/10 I will never purchase any Haitian food else where Delicious, customer service was great too I love trying new foods and I plan on trying everything on the menu

Just had the best group dinner here! I got 15 of my friends to come and eat here because I wanted them to taste soup joumou and the service was amazing!!! She let us do a mini take over of the shop, played music, and had treated our party so well after we went to a restaurant that charged u 67 per head just to have soup for the evening. Her prices were fair and she really put her customers first and I felt really proud to have my friends see the best side of supporting a Haitian business that loves their customers. Definitely will return. I get that Zanmi is well advertised, but Haitian food is ultimately about community. We were scoffed at when we wanted to bring a group. I’m glad there are places like Joenise that give us options for Haitian dining.

Today we came to eat at this place and it was so amazing. I am not Haitian but the food was so delicious. It was so good that I forgot to take a picture of the plate. As I eat the black rice it was so good and also it’s very good to be together with people who welcome you with opened arms. Definitely recommend this place. If there was more starts I would definitely give it a 10.
